The pics are nice and the article isn't too bad. I like how they inserted his manager's opinion as well. Felipe does need some advocates.
Though I kinda feel peeved that they keep talking about his accident. Maybe he doesn't feel any different today than what he was 3 years ago but the media won't let go of it. Felipe doesn't carry any baggage but the press won't stop imagining that.
And yeah, I've just kinda accepted the idea that whenever there's anything about Felipe it's always gonna come back to that accident. I hate it, but they're not leaving it alone any time soon :\ It must make it so difficult for him, having people bringing it up constantly when all he wants to do is move on and get on with his job. I mean ffs, how would they feel if they had people constantly reminding them of "oh hey remember that time when you almost died?" It's ridiculous.
But then I should be used to it, coz one of my Top Gear boys has a similar problem, tho not to the same extent. 4 years ago he had a blow out in a jet car at 273mph and flipped it over, he had remarkably similar injuries to Felipe. A couple weeks ago one of the other presenters slipped over and hit his head on a rock and had to have a couple stitches, and every media outlet I saw was bringing up Richard's crash again... coz y'know the two are comparable O.o It's stupid, but that's just how the media is. It's a big story and a cheap, easy way of sensationalising an article. Personally I wonder if Felipe didn't come back a little too soon, but that is based only on what happened to Richard (he came back for the next series around 6 months later, and now says he doesn't remember big periods of filming it). But if Felipe says he is fine then Felipe is fine and that should be the end of it. After 12 months you'd think they'd get the point. I just want him to go out there now and show them all how much crap they're talking
Thank You!!!
