Just the one today. I'm not even gonna try to tackle Home part1 this late at night, I'm gonna need a whole day for that one ^_^


The Farm


Kara: *looks absolutely frakking gorgeous* "Right, if Lee thinks he can be prettier in this ep he's got another thing coming"
El: *is rather inclined to agree with that*


Adama: *has returned*
Everyone: *is happy*


Lee: *hears about Adama's return* *hears about Kara's challenge* *looks absolutely adorable*
Everyone: "Awwwwwww!"
El: *is spending lots of time looking at both Lee and Kara in an attempt to judge* *settles for just staring blankly*


Lee: *eyebrow raise of doom*
El: *squees* *glomps* *loves* "don't ask, minor obsession"


Lee: *is being angsty* *is being pretty* *is being REALLY stupid*
El: "hmmmm... you lose points for stupid moves you know... tho you do gain a couple for pretty angst"


Lee: *stops being stupid* *settles for pretty angst*
El: *moves Lee up to top of pretty list*


Kara: *also angsts* *is also pretty*
El: *can't decide for the life of her who's prettier* "Gah, they're all so damn pretty, I love them all*


Sharon: *briefly joins the pretty*


Kara: *is incredibly stupidly gorgeously prettiful* *has so won this round*
El: "well to be fair, Lee's not had much chance for competition this time around"
Kara: "... shut up" *carries on being pretty*


Anders: *angsts a bit* *joins the pretty for a bit*
El: "Hmmmm... well you're good, but comparatively... meh. But hey, you're a newbie, you can be forgiven, they've had much more practice at the pretty angst"


Kara: *more pretty angst*
El: *isn't convinced by this one* "sorry love, not your fault. The angst is still pretty, so you still win this round... but I don't even know that dude, how am I supposed to be sad about you leaving him?"
Kara: O.o

Sorry that one was kinda short, and all about the pretty, but really, that's what this episode was all about to me: angst and pretty. But hey, it means Kara got a pretty award ^_^ she is rather beautiful, no?

The look on Lee's face when he hears about his dad...(sniffles) And then he just turns away cause it's too much for him and he doesn't want to embarass himself in front of that moose Zarek of all people. Lee killed me good.

This whole eppy just ripped my heart out soooo good!

I knoooow, he's only in it for about 10 minutes, but for the whole of that time I just wanna hug him and try and make everything better *sniffle*

I think I woulda liked this episode more if we'd seen more of Anders. Like I said before, despite Katee's wonderful acting at the end, I just couldn't bring myself to believe in their relationship. The only sense of time we're given in the whole ep is when Gaeta (I think) mentions that the "fugitives" had left a week ago. But even so, Kara and Anders have only known each other for a week, and their leaving each other is supposed to be all emotional and stuff, and sorry but I just can't believe it. At least, not to the extent that they want anyway.

The eyebrow of doom is wonderful. I tried to make an animated icon of the eyebrow of doom once, but it saved oddly and ended up just being a single plain square with "DOOM!" in the middle of it. Twas quite amusing.

I think that's gotta be one of the ultimate prettiful pics of Kara
