I keep seeing this advert on tv then has Austin for like half a second and every time I see I turn into this big fangirly pile of squee and I just found out he's moved back to Birkenhead (why, Austin, you escaped, why would you come back? (he used to live in the same town as my mum, and went to school down the road from my dad XD) so I wandered off to find pics and to generally fangirl and so I thought I would spam (coz that's what I do).

And I don't have a Strictly icon, so Princess Rafa will have to do XD *is now imagining tennis people (other than Andrew Castle) on Strictly* *is dead from OMGLOL*

HOW SO CUTE RAFA?

I wasn't gonna post any of the trophy ceremony pics coz they make me sad, but... god dammit, they're too cute. They've broken me. I may never be fixed.


Oh Raf, you're the only person who had the slightest chance of fixing him even a tiny bit in that moment. After that first attempt at the speech he looked like we were never gonna see him smile again. But the moment Rafa got on that podium he went straight to Roger and made sure he was ok. Then he walked over, grabbed his trophy, and went straight back to Roger and gave him the biggest cuddle and within seconds Roger was smiling again (tho obviously the tears were still there)

This post confuses me. Coz on the one hand, it's really really sad coz even tho Rafa's done a brilliant job of cheering him up, Rogi still looks so sad. But on the other hand, god dammit they're too cute, and I just love how Rafa didn't even hesitate to go to him when he saw he was hurting.

Also, Roddick lost before, 6-4 6-4 to Davydenko :\ Which means we get Rafa-Kolya tomorrow. Would've preferred Andy, but ah well. VAMOS RAFA! XD

And, surprise surprise, Murray OWNED Blake 6-2 6-2, so it's Roger-Andy tomorrow. Now I love Andy, and if he's playing anyone but Roger or Rafa I will happily cheer away for him. But if he beats Roger and stops another Fedal match then I will be SO not happy. Come on Roger, you've had a nice rest, it's a new year, let's put 2008 behind and be awesome and win this thing to meet your boyfriend top rival.

No, sorry, I forgot, Rafa and Roger hate each other, they're just trying to be polite when they gush about compliment each other, it's all just promotional stuff. That's why Rafa's face absolutely lights up when he sees his boyfriend rival turn up unexpectedly.

Roger, that... that just shouldn't be possible. I mean... what? I've watching it I don't know how many times and I still can't work out how the hell you won that.

Christ, Tsonga had no chance against him playing like that. I think Rafa would have had trouble beating him when he's that on form.

I'm kinda amused by the commentator calling him "world number 1" - I've said it before, but it's kinda weird how the transition from calling Rafa "world number 2" to "world number 1" has been pretty easy, it seemed quite natural. But it still somehow seems wrong calling Roger "world number 2", it just... doesn't fit.

God, I hope they both get to the final, coz the way they're playing at the moment... it would be completely epic.

But first, the quarters. Andy's just started now, then it's Rogi against DelPo (please Rogi, wipe the floor with him), then Rafa and his BFF Feli, and finally Gilles Simon against the abnormally tall one (I'm hoping Simon can win - even if Ivo did take Djokovic out yesterday, I still don't really like him, his game just irritates me). Should be an interesting day. But for now Andy... who just got broken in his first service game D: Errr... then he broke back 15-40 in his first return game XD

I am COMPLETELY in love with this series. Seriously, I just adore it. James May wins at life, and I absolutely cannot wait for MPH to see him being all silly with Richard and Jeremy again.
