eleclyaFinally got these all uploaded. Actually managed to get more caps from this than the last one (and absolutely couldn't decide between them so just ended up posting all 48 of them on here. So yeah, definitely not dial-up friendly). Also, in addition to the usual "GUH!"s and *SQUEEE!*s, I ended up doing a bit of actor worship in there. So beware! ^_^

El: "Let me take this moment to say that despite having spent a whole series and a bit absolutely hating Tricia Helfer, she is rather wonderful in this ep. I guess that shows that she really is just a great actress" *apologises to Ms Helfer repeatedly*

El: *forgets to be annoyed at him coz she's too distracted by how absolutely frakking GORGEOUS Jamie Bamber looks in the moonlight like that* *slides off chair*

El: "After having sung the praises of Tricia Helfer earlier, tis now Jamie's turn (tho of course he doesn't get the 'for the whole first series I hated you' thing, since that qould quite obviously be a blatent lie). In the first series I thought he was a really good actor (see? Told you ^_^). But in this series he has proved me wrong. He is so far beyond 'really good' it's untrue. Every time I see something new with him I'm shocked to find out that he can actually get better. Anyway, I'll shuttup now, before this whole post turns into Jamie worship (... ok, it became Jamie worship a long time ago... in fact this whole bloody journal became Jamie worship a long time ago... but that's really not the point)"
Gaius: *is wonderful and insane and paranoid*
El: "Ok, James' turn? The guy really is great at being crazy. It takes a really great actor to show insanity quite that well. And despite the creepiness being really scary, I love how he can switch between the two so easily."
Bill and Laura ^_^: *are all sweet and forgiving and... stuff*
KARL: "I can't believe the old man reacted like that"
El: *blinks* "Huh? You what? Come on love, I know you're pretty and everything, but do you actually own a brain? I mean the last 'Sharon' the guy met almost killed him, I think he's allowed to be more than a little bit worried about meeting another one"
Tyrol: *uncomfrotable much?*
Random minion: *is a complete and utter total MORON*
El: *hits random minion about the head repeatedly* "PLOTTING. IS. BAD! Especially THAT plotting. Bad minion" *hits him a couple more times*
Lee: *is adorable and smiling and stupidly pretty*
Kara: *decides to do what we've been doing ever since the mini series and just plain STARES at The Pretty*
El: *joins Kara in the staringness*
Tom: "Ooooooh!"
KARL: "Ahhhhh!"
El: "... sorry, my brain just went again"
Sharon: *does really cool speech about choices (really quickly before anyone *coughLEEcough* decides to shoot her)*
Random Minion: *is dying*
El: *cheers* ^_^
Tom: *wanders over to look slashy*
El: "EWWWWW!" *hides eyes* "Is it gone yet?"
Kara: *is pretty and snarky and generally her very cool little self*
El: "....!" *any coherency that had been regained since the reunion scene goes flying out of the window*
Everyone: "Oooooh!"
Everyone: "Ahhhhh!"
El: "Sorry, it just happened again" *hits head on desk a couple of times*
Lee: *looks pretty in the moonlight again*
Kara: *is great, so works everything out* *gets slightly emotional*
El: "KATEE'S TURN! My respect for this woman has absolutely skyrocketed this series. I suppose it's mostly because in series 1 we only really got to see one side of her character most of the time (ok so we got the odd mini-breakdown or two, but nothing really bad). But now it's like everything's finally getting to her, so we get this sudden rush of emotion from her, and it really gives Katee the opportunity to shine. And boy did she ever take it. It's one thing to play a character who's emotional, but it's quite another to successfully manage to show a character who tries to be emotionally quite shut off most of the time, but is finding it more and more difficult to keep it up. If you watch her right the way through from the mini to now, it's actually quite a gradual change, and is extremely well done. In short, she is an absolutely fabulous actress, and I adore her. She's also very pretty. This is completely irrelevant to everything else I've just written, but I felt the need to point it out. And now back to my usual pretty squeeing"
Lee: *grins at Kara and is impossibly pretty*
Kara: *grins back and Lee and is equally pretty*

Adama: "Laura's great. She rules. Go Laura!"

Wet!Lee and Binbag!Lee, not too mention DestroyerofElandNowBecca'sCoherancy!Lee. Campfire!Lee and Reunited!Lee...not to mention Uniform!Lee, which is a class in itself. And Kara is just too cool...!
Ah, it looks like much happiness abounds in this episode (from a fangirl point of view, perhaps not so much the characters XD). And I'm actually beginning to find the frakked-upness of Boomer and Helo totally adorable ^_^.

Reunited Lee is absolutely the cutest thing imaginable, I was literally squeeing out loud for that whole scene. And yes, between them Kara and Lee rule all with their coolness and the prettifulness.
It's kinda alternating with the happiness. It's like, this is crap, but then this happens, and that's great, but now we're back to crap again. Ultimately tho, it all ends up being good and happy and back to how it should be (cept better of course, since now they actually have some idea as to where they hell they're going)
I swear, the more frakked up their relationship gets, the cuter they are about it. Even if it does mean that Helo's lost a few brain cells along the way. I'm sure he never used to be quite that thick.
Heehee, doing this gives me a good excuse to a) spend large amounts of time staring at pretty pics deciding which ones I need, and b) be a bit crazy and very fangirly without scaring the rest of my family too much. So it's all good

I think half of the reaction wasn't just to the fact that his father was alive and alright, but that he had followed them there and was prepared to forgive all. I mean, the last time he'd seen Adama conscious, he was about to be sent to the brig for mutiny, and since then he's done so many things that could've quite easily made the distance between them even bigger, he probably wouldn't have expected Adama to send anyone else down there to find them, never mind going himself. Wow, I'm being all analytical today.
Awwww, they're so in love. Even if it is screwy frakked up stupid-making love.

I agree that the reaction was more of a 'you don't hate my guts' moment, (laughs) as Lee already knew his dad had made it. (another amazing Jamie performance) He should charge money for those.....oh right. (giggles)
